The USEF is looking for volunteers to help at the USEF Dressage Selection Trials for the Olympics and specifically with the USADA Human Drug testing on June 29, 2008. Six adults who would be willing to help on Sunday, June 29th will be drug testing the dressage athletes after the trials. Volunteers will act as a notifying chaperon for the riders. After the awards ceremony the individuals would need to approach the rider and escort them to the testing area. The individuals would need to be at the show grounds that morning/afternoon to meet with the USADA testers and familiarize themselves with the grounds. They would get a ticket of admission for that day.

DASC sets up Ricardo Amaya Fund

The DASC Board of Directors is saddened upon the news of the tragic death of trainer Ricardo Amaya, long-time supporter and valued member. To assist the family, DASC has setup a Ricardo Amaya Fund, for those who feel inclined to send a brief note or donate funds to help his family during this time of need. The DASC Board of Directors will forward all donations, letters and thoughts to the family as they are received. Dates established for May 17, 18; June 28, 29; July 26, 27 to be held at Terrie Woods property in Yucaipa, CA and session D1 to be held at Woodside Sept. 20, 21, 2008. 9-21 Demo riders will be required and video for review to become a demo rider will be requested. Demo riders will be needed 5/18, 6/28, 6/29, 7/26 and 7/27/2008. Final approval for the program has been received from USDF. Fees set at $1150.00 per individual. Auditors will be welcome.
